Your cars. Your information.

Effective September 12, 2026. CoDriver is a pre-release car-buying and ownership service.

What you provide

We process your account email, buying preferences, saved listings, vehicle identifiers, inspection notes, photos, service records, deal inputs, and conversations. Avoid uploading documents with unrelated personal information. Camera and notification permissions are optional.

What happens to it

Your information is used to provide the analysis and features you request. Supabase supports account and data storage. Configured research services may receive the listing URL, vehicle identity, and relevant source text. OpenRouter and the selected model provider may process information relevant to your requested analysis or conversation. Stripe processes payments when purchases are available; CoDriver does not store your full payment-card details.

VIN and receipt text recognition in the native iPhone app runs on the device. The captured image is uploaded only when you save an attached record. Uploaded images are resized and their embedded metadata is removed.

Private by default

Saved cars and attachments are private to your session or account. Sharing a draft or exporting a file is your choice. CoDriver does not include advertising trackers or sell your saved car information.

Retention and controls

Guest access expires after seven days. Account records remain available until you delete them. Operational usage and error records support reliability and abuse prevention. Provider retention and payment-record requirements may differ from CoDriver’s own storage.

You can change notification preferences, export your saved information, and delete your account in Settings. Exported data contains attachment references; save any photos or documents you want to keep before deleting your account. Device drafts are removed on sign-out or account deletion.
